December marks a time of giving and also the birth month of my late father, Dr. John Douglas Salmon, who dedicated his life to the well being of others.   In the spirit of giving and in honor of my late father, Dr. John Douglas Salmon, who has dedicated his life to the well-being of others and who has been my great source of inspiration, my family has established the Dr. John Douglas Graham Salmon Award for Black medical students, administered through the Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto.

It was through his passing and his great legacy, that I was inspired to create Afro Flow Yoga.  I continue to strive for excellence daily through his message of courage and strength amidst adversity.  He taught us that if you believe in yourself, anything is possible!  –Leslie Salmon Jones

Charity: Water

This campaign is now closed but we look forward to supporting Charity Water in the near future.

Thank you for your support and please check out this fun video from Charity Water.

100% of your donation directly funds clean water projects in developing nations.

Hello, friends:

Charity: Water proclaims “Water Changes Everything”.  We couldn’t agree MORE!!

Human beings embody the four elements of earth, air, fire, water, but are physically made up of 70-85% WATER! So imagine what happens when the water we drink is murky and festering with bacteria and germs? The body becomes disease-ridden and burdened with bacteria and unhealthy germs too!

We need your help to keep moving us toward the goal of clean and safe drinking water for every person on the planet, particularly those in developing nations.  WE ARE ALL ONE and we can achieve this goal TOGETHER!

Will you take a stand for your global family?  How about for better global health and development, which benefits the planet and each and every one of us? Please make a donation today to this amazing, life-changing cause.
