You don’t have to travel long distances or drain your resources to recharge your spirit and experience more inner tranquility!  This spring, join Leslie Salmon Jones for an urban retreat that will leave feeling refreshed and invigorated, connected to yourself and your beautiful Boston community.  No experience with dance or yoga required to participate in this amazing weekend-long Afro Flow Yoga experience.

Saturday, 6/4  9-4pm:

Leslie Salmon Jones, wellness coach, holistic personal trainer, professional dancer and creator of Afro Flow Yoga™, guides you on a transformational journey to cultivate the skills you need to build an inner oasis among the hustle and bustle of city living!  Leslie shares her personal journey of wellness and provides you with host of tools to help you tap into your divine potential and energy flow.  Leslie will teach you how to build a strong foundation by engaging and aligning with your physical core based on techniques from her DVD Core Strength: Back to Basics. Deepen your inner connection by learning to awaken your core on all dimensions and by mindfully assessing the behaviors and habits that are no longer serving you.   Set your intentions and align yourself with what truly resonates with you by unleashing your unlimited potential!

Sunday, 6/5  10-5pm:

Awaken, get centered and start the day off right by igniting and energizing your core through an enlivening Afro Flow Core Power class based on techniques Leslie uses in her DVD, Core Power: Radiate the Energy Within. Then have fun creating your wellness vision and road map to put your plan in action!  Affirm and flow into your vision and goals through an empowering Afro Flow Yoga™ dance class.  The ancient, worldly rhythms of live drumming serve to unite our collective energy in a non-judgmental, environment.  You will leave feeling grounded, renewed, inspired and energized!

**Suggestions for weekend**

1. If possible, bring your own simple, healthy lunch (ex. a hummus and veggie roll up and fruit, plus veggies and nuts as a snack); there will be a cooler for storing food

2. Bring a water bottle, towel and yoga mat (filtered water is available at the studio for refills); if you don’t have a mat, you can rent one for $1

3. Wear comfortable, breathable clothes that aren’t too baggy.  Bring an extra tank top or shirt to change into each day for after first class (can get very sweaty!)

4.  Please bring a journal for note taking and goal-writing exercises
